Graduated from Kassel Art Academy, Germany and Central Academy of Fine Arts, China with a doctoral degree in visual communication.

Taught in Communication University of China, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and Central Academy of Fine Arts as a guest lecturer and worked at Center for Chinese Font Design and Research as a researcher.
