School of Future Design Officially Launches the "Future Station" Exhibition

On June 27th, School of Future Design at Beijing Normal University has officially launched the "Future Station" exhibition, showcasing the school's latest practices in exploring new modes of design education through 22 teaching achievements to the public.

This exhibition involves interdisciplinary integration, merging existing academic disciplines such as economics, literature, engineering, psychology, and education. It involves various stages of research, discussion, analysis, design, and creation. The outcome is a series of interdisciplinary collaborative achievements aimed at the future and addressing real-world problems.

The motto of the School of Future Design is "Design for a Better Future Life," which represents the school's mission and vision. It also serves as a summary of the school's explorations in design education over the past two years. Dean Gao Peng stated, "The design education we are exploring is oriented towards the four years after students graduate and the seven years ahead in society and life. From the day they enroll, they need to think about what a better future life looks like, what kind of design is needed then, and what kind of design talents are required. These are the questions that all faculty members and students of School of Future Design have been contemplating.”
