SFD was invited to participate in the "Future Design Exhibition"

From January 28th to February 28th, the "Future Design Exhibition" organized by the China Japan Industrial Design Center and the China Industrial Design Association was held in the Qingtai International Industrial Design Village in Suzhou. As an important part of the Phase I settlement activities of the Qingtai International Industrial Design Village in 2024, the exhibition invited top domestic universities and companies such as Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Nanjing University of the Arts, Southern University of Science and Technology, NONZERO Intelligent Technology, and SAIC Motor to share the most cutting-edge intelligent design, technological design, and digital design. The exhibition also creates interactive and artistic learning scenarios, allowing future design to enter everyone's life.

Beijing Normal University School of Future Design focused on showcasing research achievements in the field of future production and lifestyle during the exhibition. From the perspective of integrating technology into tradition, the School showcased new material development projects such as "ChaZence" and the "Infinite Biomaterial Plan". The School pays attention to cultural heritage and is committed to the innovation of traditional craftsmanship. By showcasing future Eastern aesthetic living scenes, it conveys the School's understanding of future lifestyles.

During the exhibition, teachers from the School guided students in introducing the curatorial concept and exhibits to the audience, sharing the School's teaching and research achievements, and engaging in discussions with the audience about their understanding of future design.

As an interdisciplinary institution rooted in art, technology, and education, the School promotes the development of the design discipline of "design for a better future life". In this exhibition, together with Peking University, Southern University of Science and Technology, and other universities, the School showcased the visions for future robotics, future transportation, future design, and more. It hopes to provide the public with more interactive experiences with cutting-edge intelligence, enabling everyone to have a richer understanding of future design and embrace a better future life.
