SFD was elected as the director of China Arts and Crafts Society

On March 25, the fifth session of the fourth council of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society was held. At the meeting, the School of Future Design of Beijing Normal University was elected as the fifth council member of China Arts and Crafts Society. Gao Peng, Dean of the School of Future Design, was elected as the director of the fifth council of China Arts and Crafts Society.

The China Arts and Crafts Society is a national-level society approved by the China Association for Science and Technology and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, with the status of an association legal person. As the earliest academic professional organization established in the arts and crafts industry, its foundation, development and transformation are closely linked to the great course of reform and opening up. Over the past 40 years, the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society has been adhering to innovation, gathering the elite of artistic creation and design research. It not only has united the elite strength of artistic creation, design and research in the field of arts and crafts, but also devoted to academic research, popularization of science, education, application, innovation, think tank construction and talent cultivation in the arts and crafts industry.
