The 2022 Zhuhai International Design Week was held in Zhuhai from Dec. 30 to Jan. 1 through a combination of online and offline activities.Beijing Normal University School of Future Design, as the academic support unit of the Design Week, hosted the main forum and Dean’s Dialogue and participated in the "Youth Design 100 Exhibition". 

In the "Academic Exhibition" section of 2022 Zhuhai International Design Week, a total of seven exhibitions were displayed. The topics covered the development areas focused on by many countries, provinces and cities during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, such as industrial design, design education, artificial intelligence and cooperation with Macao. The exhibition was committed to serving as a window to gather design power and display colorful achievements.

This exhibition sought a new path to enable high-quality industrial and urban development in Zhuhai and even the Greater Bay Area and stimulated the greater potential of design empowerment.Teachers and students from the School were invited to participate in the "Youth Design 100 Exhibition" with their design works, showing the style of youth design together with the universities in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Under the guidance of Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, Zhuhai International Design Week is co-organized by Zhuhai Huafa Group, Zhuhai Design Center, Beijing Gehua Group, Hong Kong Federation of Design Association and Macao Design Center. It is the largest international professional design event in Zhuhai with the most extensive coverage.

So far, Zhuhai International Design Week has been successfully held four times, attracting guests from over 20 countries and regions. There are more than 1,000 industry experts and senior professionals participated in the events, attracting a total of 120,000 visitors to the exhibition, and the attention of 600 million people to this event. The Zhuhai International Design Week has become one of the most dynamic design industry brand activities in the Greater Bay Area, attracting industrial talents and innovative resources in the field of "Design for All" to Zhuhai and the Greater Bay Area.
