On 6 December, Dr. Jenny Zapf, Director of Education Entrepreneurship and Senior Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE), visited the SFD, accompanied by her delegation. They were warmly received by Professor Gao Peng, Dean of the SFD, and Mr Liang Xu, Director of Cooperation and Development.

Professor Gao Peng extended a warm welcome to Dr. Zapf and her colleagues, offering a concise introduction to the SFD’s academic strengths, educational objectives, and its overarching mission and vision. Both parties shared their respective developmental experiences and educational philosophies, engaging in discussions on student and faculty exchange programmes as well as collaborative educational initiatives. They reached a consensus on fostering deeper cooperation in the future.

During their visit, Dr. Zapf and her delegation, accompanied by Professor Gao Peng, toured the SFD’s art gallery, where they viewed current exhibitions showcasing the outcomes of the SFD’s education initiatives.
