This project is a PBL teaching practice project for the 2023-2024 academic year at Beijing Normal University School of Future Design, running from October 2023 to April 2024.
The project is a collaboration between Beijing Normal University School of Future Design and China Resources Land, aiming to utilize the "integration of industry and education with creativity" teaching model on a shared platform between schools and enterprises, to cultivate excellent innovative service design talents for the future service design industry. The D/BAY venue at Shenzhen Bay Cultural Square has a total construction area of 182,000 square meters, which includes the North and South Exhibition Building Groups, Shenzhen Creative Design Museum, and Shenzhen Science and Life Museum. Among them, the Creative Design Museum is one of the "New Ten Cultural Facilities" in Shenzhen. The project will carry out intelligent service system design for the D/BAY venue at Shenzhen Bay Cultural Square, by analyzing the needs of stakeholders within the system based on the top-tier design concept of "human-centered, precise services", extracting pain points insights, and providing better user experiences for future customers through the intelligent service system, making the operations management of the venue safe, efficient, and collaborative. The project team will create a guide for building an intelligent venue service system based on this project, and serve the smart city renewal.
