Gong Shuai

Research areas: Product Design, Product–Service System Design (PSS), Innovation in Traditional Culture
Shuai Gong is a Lecturer at the School of Future Design and the Future Design Innovation Research Center, Beijing Normal University. She also serves as Head of the Future Intelligent Life Lab.
She received her Bachelor’s degree from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and her Master’s degree from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London. She is currently a PhD candidate in Design at Macau University of Science and Technology.
In 2025, she was selected for the Guanghua Longteng Award · Top 100 Figures in China’s Design Industry and was honored as one of the Top Ten Outstanding Young Designers of Guangdong Province. She has also received the title of “Top 100 Young Designers of Guangdong – Design Master” awarded by the Guangdong Industrial Design Association.
She is a member of the China Industrial Design Association, Vice President and Executive Secretary-General of the Zhuhai Industrial Design Association, and a member of the Zhuhai Youth Federation. She is also a certified Gemologist, Diamond Grader, Jadeite Appraiser, and Colored Gemstone Appraiser accredited by the National Gemstone Testing Center (NGTC) of the Ministry of Natural Resources.
