Recently, the “Dawn of the century – Avant-Garde Art from the State Russian Museum” exhibition was showcased at the Chengdu Art Museum. This exhibition is jointly presented by the Chengdu Art Museum, the China Cultural Heritage Exchange Centre, and the Russian National Museum, with support from the Embassy of the Russian Federation in China.

At this exhibition, the SFD faculty and students debuted their work, “Fluid Soundscapes: Touching Kandinsky”, as a real-time interactive display. This interactive audiovisual installation utilizes digital technology to immerse viewers in Kandinsky’s synesthetic art. The installation allows visitors to interact with Kandinsky’s works through gesture interaction technology, activating sounds closely linked to specific elements within the paintings. This interaction interplay between technology and artistic essence as a modern interpretation of cross-media expression, enriching sensory experiences and providing new perspectives.
