Dunhuang Academy-Launch Partnership to Advance Aesthetic Education

On November 15, during the 7th China Education Innovation Expo, Beijing Normal University (BNU) and the Dunhuang Academy signed a cooperation agreement to jointly promote aesthetic education. The collaboration will focus on preserving and promoting traditional Chinese culture, developing shared curriculum and teaching materials, and facilitating talent exchange. By integrating museum resources with educational practice, the partnership aims to help build a high-quality aesthetic education system and contribute to national cultural and educational development.

This initiative represents a key step in BNU's ongoing efforts to deepen the impact of aesthetic education and strengthen moral and intellectual development. It will be carried out by BNU’s School of Future Design School, leveraging the respective strengths and resources of both institutions in cultural heritage and education. Together, they will design and promote aesthetic education courses and materials for primary, secondary, and university students, as well as the general public. Through these efforts, the partnership seeks to foster creative reinterpretation and innovative development of traditional Chinese culture, thereby enhancing cultural confidence and expanding the global influence of Chinese heritage.
