To foster collaboration in practical teaching, research, and knowledge exchange, the SFD has entered into a strategic partnership with the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in Singapore. Following the principles of mutual benefit, shared progress, and joint development, the partnership will involve cooperation in areas such as faculty exchanges, student exchange programs, academic research, scholarly activities, and project development. By leveraging their respective resources, the two institutions aim to advance the development of design education.

The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts , known as "NAFA", is a highly representative art institution in Singapore. It has not only contributed significantly to Singapore's visual arts scene but also nurtured many local art talents. With a strong and capable teaching team, NAFA is confidently progressing toward its goal of becoming a world-class arts institution. NAFA is renowned for its rigorous academic standards and innovative teaching methods. It currently offers programs across eight departments: 3D Design, Arts Management and Education, Dance, Design and Media, Fashion Studies, Fine Art, Music, and Theatre. NAFA is a part of the University of the Arts Singapore (UAS), which, with government support, opened its doors to its first degree admissions in 2024.
