Concerning the current situation and cutting-edge issues of China’s New Media Art education, this project is based on oral interviews and video recordings and describes the linear structure of New Media Art education from New Media Art, Digital Art to Experimental Art, Cross-media Art and then further to Science Technology Arts. It also explains the non-linear relationship between these concepts within the framework of art disciplines. The project tries to present a stereoscopic image of China’s New Media Art education of past 20 years from the angle of individual case study to systematic analysis, providing first-hand information, files and documents for the development of future art education, thus giving reference to future art education research countrywide.
