Forbidden City Publishing House - PBL Teaching Collaboration Enterprise

Beijing Normal University School of Future design collaborates with the Forbidden City Publishing House in the form of a PBL teaching practice project to carry out the "Research on the Color (Pattern) System of the Forbidden City" project. This project aims to establish a color system for the Forbidden City through research into the cultural meanings and related knowledge of its colors. The project presents the cultural significance and application scenarios of the Forbidden City's color system in forms such as visual communication, interaction design, and knowledge visualization. These research and designs help better preserve the rich heritage of Chinese culture, rejuvenate traditional colors, and promote the academic sorting and application dissemination of the cultural heritage of the Forbidden City in the contemporary education system.
