Beijing Normal University School of Future Design Established Strategic Partnership with POLI. Design

On Nov 15, 2021, the signing ceremony for the establishment of a strategic partnership between the School of Future Design (SFD) of Beijing Normal University (BNU) and POLI. design founded by Politecnico di Milano was successfully held online. Following the principle of mutual benefits, win-win cooperation and common development, the two parties established collaboration in the areas including a Future Design Innovation Center in China, which aims to provide consultancy and training to enterprises in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and a specialized master program in Furniture Design. By combining the resources and strengths of China and Italy, both sides will boost the development of innovation and design in the GBA.

Wang Shoujun, Vice President of BNU, noted that Politecnico di Milano is one of the world’s leading universities in the field of creative design. The cooperation between BNU School of Future Design and POLI.design will greatly enhance the innovation and development of the GBA.

Francesco Zurlo, President of POLI.design, expressed that it is an honor to become a strategic partner with SFD, and he hoped that both sides can benefit from future talent cultivation, course sharing, joint research and project cooperation.
