SFD Named One of the First Batch of School-Enterprise Practice Bases under 'Beijing Youth Design List' Cultural and Creative Emerging Youth Training Program

On December 4, 2023, the Youth Design Talent Exchange Conference of the Beijing-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Beijing Creative Industry Design Achievement Exhibition concluded successfully at the permanent venue of Zhangjiawan·Beijing International Design Week. The event was organized by the Communist Youth League Beijing Municipal Committee, Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban Management, Beijing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, Beijing Municipal Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau (Beijing Rural Revitalization Bureau), Beijing Municipal Administration of Government Services, Beijing Normal University Zhuhai Campus, Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd., and jointly undertaken by the Beijing Youth Arts Development Promotion Association, the Youth Work Committee of the Art and Design Industry in Chaoyang District, and the Youth Design 100. The purpose of the event was to enhance regional industrial vitality, promote industrial innovation, and optimize the structure of industrial talents.

Leadership figures such as Qiao Xuehui, Deputy Secretary of the Beijing Youth League Municipal Committee, Jia Ronglin, President of Beijing Fashion Institute, Liu Liping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd., Wang Yudong, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Ge Hua Design Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Beijing International Design Week Co., Ltd., and other distinguished guests attended the event.

During the event, Gao Peng, the Dean of the School of Future Design at Beijing Normal University, spoke as a representative of the university. He also participated as a guest in discussions at the Beijing-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Design Talent Exchange Summit. The School was honored as one of the first university-industry practice bases under the "Beijing Youth Design List" Cultural and Creative Emerging Youth Training Program.
