Delegation from the School of Design at the Southern University of Science and Technology visited the SFD

On March 20th, Tom Kvan, the Dean, and Li Xu, the Executive Vice Dean of the School of  Design at the Southern University of Science and Technology,visited the School of Future Design at Beijing Normal University. They were received by Gao Peng, the Dean of the School of Future Design, and some teachers from the school.

During the meeting, Dean Gao Peng introduced the development and changes of the School of Future Design since its establishment, focusing on the discipline construction, key platform construction, and key research directions. Dean Tom Kvan shared insights into the development of the School of Innovation and Design at Southern University of Science and Technology, covering aspects such as faculty allocation, teaching methods, teaching management, and academic progress. Both parties expressed the hope for strengthened communication and cooperation in the future to leverage respective advantages and promote regional coordinated development. 

During the visit, accompanied by Dean Gao Peng, Dean Tom Kvan, and Li Xu toured the ongoing exhibition of design education achievements at the institute's art gallery and the institute's laboratories, gaining a deeper understanding of the school's development.
