Teaching Assistant at the School of Future Design and Future Design Center, Beijing Normal University.
Miss Liu Shiyu was graduated from Tsinghua University's School of Architecture and Harvard University Graduate School of Design, with previous exchange studies at Politecnico di Milano in Italy. Formerly served as a guest lecturer specializing in Crisis and Ecological Design at the School of Design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Previously worked as a co-curator at the Harvard University Kirkland Art Museum, where they organized a series of exhibitions including "Fluid Expressions," "Clickbait," "Smart Kitchen," and "Version Control”, etc (2022). Also curated the thematic exhibition “The Vision of Food: Planetary Plan on our Ding Table” (2022) at the JuangZong Books and the "Bridges to the Land" research exhibition at Tsinghua University (2018).
They have organized and hosted events such as the China Educations Symposium (2023) and the “Future Future" Global Education Summit “Ecological Vision Project” Exhibition Series Lectures(2021).
Personal Research Achievements:
Published papers in the "Art and Design" journal. A forthcoming book titled "Sustainable Food Design: Food Systems and Future Ecology in the Post-Carbon Era" is currently in the publication process.
